Continuing with what Iapos;ve been working on the past few days. Over six hours of dedicated uni work today, but only 460 words written. It takes a fair bit of time to accomplish the steps needed to get the extra P/T estimates for each sample and make the figure showing which minerals and spots thereof are involved in each estimate. Once Iapos;ve got them it takes seconds to calculate the average, and the amount above and below that average the range covers. And it doesnapos;t take many words to describe the final result. Three and a half more samples to go (Iapos;ve created the figures for the last sample and done the calculations, but decided that it is bedtime (well, after yoga, of course), so I can do the writing for that one on the morrow.
In addition to the uni work, I also managed to vacuum the carpet and sweep the floors, and even put away the extra guest bed, which has been on the floor of the living room behind the couch (which was pulled forward to make room for the bed)for three weeks. I remember a time when I would have had it cleaned up within 24 hours of the guest departing, but somehow I havenapos;t made the energy for extra stuff like that whilst focusing on the thesis. Oh well, it would have been ready and available if weapos;d have had any unexpected guests (Not that anyone ever visits--people tend not to drop by much when the people who live here donapos;t go anywhere or do anything other than uni work, as they arenapos;t seeing us and so are used to not doing things with us.)
